10 Characters TMNT Mutant Mayhem 2 Has To Introduce
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem already introduced tons of TMNT characters, but the sequel can introduce 10 more heroes and villains.
Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2 will follow up on the acclaimed original film, and here are 10 TMNT characters that the upcoming sequel has to introduce. The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem already introduced loads of beloved TMNT characters to the new series, with mutants like Bebop, Rocksteady, Leatherhead, Mondo Gecko, and more making appearances. While many of the most popular characters already exist in the new series, there are still plenty of beloved TMNT characters that could make their debut in the Mutant Mayhem franchise in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is an all-new take on the heroes in a half-shell, with the film bringing the Turtles to the big screen for the first time since Michael Bay's live-action movies. The film sees the young Turtles tasked with taking down Superfly and his dangerous gang of criminals, with the mutants hoping to wipe out humanity and create a new world of mutated creatures. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem's mid-credits scene teases Shredder, with the upcoming Mutant Mayhem TV series and sequel most likely following his team-up with Cynthia Utrom. Because of this, it's possible these 10 TMNT characters could appear.

Casey Jones is one of the most popular TMNT characters, meaning that it would make perfect sense for him to appear in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2. Casey Jones is the sports gear-wielding vigilante human who is an ally of the Turtles, although he has occasionally acted as a foil for the super team. Casey Jones is often portrayed as a love interest for April O'Neil, and considering Leonardo's relationship with April in the first film, this could be an interesting dynamic for the sequel. Casey Jones has appeared in the previous two live-action TMNT movie series, meaning he's popular enough to appear in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2.
Krang is arguably TMNT's second most popular villain after Shredder, meaning that it would make perfect sense for him to appear in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2. Krang is an alien from Dimension X that, armed with his android suit, often allies with Shredder and Baxter Stockman in order to take on the Turtles. Krang is a member of the Utrom alien race, and with Cynthia Utrom heavily teasing the inclusion of Krang in the franchise, it seems clear that he will appear in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2. Interestingly, Krang was the villain of the second Michael Bay TMNT film, so appearing in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 would continue this trend.
If Krang does appear in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2, it would only make sense for Antrax to appear as well. Antrax is a member of an alien race for Dimension X that is a close ally of Krang, with him being Krang's royal executioner. Antrax has also left Dimension X to aid Shredder on several occasions, meaning he could easily fit into Shredder's TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 story. Although not technically a mutant, Antrax's ant-like appearance often gets him lumped in with the other mutants, continuing a theme of the first Mutant Mayhem.
Karai is another popular TMNT character that would perfectly fit into the story of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2. Karai is a member of the Foot Clan, with her often being represented as Shredder's second in command and most trusted ally. However, Karai is an anti-hero that turns against Shredder in later TMNT stories, with this redemption arc potentially being the heart of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2's story. Interestingly, Karai is portrayed as the daughter of Splinter in the iterations where Splinter started out as a human. Since Splinter's new origin in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem reveals he was just an NYC sewer rat, this Karai story will have to be changed.
The Punk Frogs are a rival team of super mutants throughout the TMNT franchise, with Shredder creating them to do his bidding before they escape and begin fighting crime. Genghis Frog is one of the four mutant members of the Punk Frogs, but he was the only Punk Frog to appear in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 could give Genghis Frog a much bigger role by reuniting him with Attila the Frog, Rasputin the Mad Frog, and Napoleon Bonafrog, finally giving the Punk Frogs a proper introduction.

Slash is Bebop's pet turtle that Rocksteady mutates, with him then becoming an enemy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Slash is one of the most popular mutants that wasn't introduced in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, meaning that he is ripe for inclusion in the sequel. On top of that, Bebop and Rocksteady's existence in the series means that all the pieces are in place for Slash's origin story to occur.
The Rat King is another popular TMNT villain that could easily appear in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 in a minor role. The Rat King is a sewer-dwelling human that uses a flute to control rats, allowing him to reign terror over New York City. The Rat King is one of the few comic book villains that made it into the original TMNT animated series, and his legacy warrants an appearance in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2.
The Triceratons are a villainous alien race that comes to Earth after their planet is destroyed, with the Turtles having to defend New York City from them. The triceratops-themed villains have an interesting history, as they actually predate TMNT. The Triceratons were a creation of Mirage Studios well before the Turtles, with them being added to the TMNT universe after the franchise's popularity took off. Several Easter eggs in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem reference the Triceratons, meaning that they should have a proper appearance in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2.
Miyamoto Usagi is a mutant rabbit in the TMNT franchise, with him being portrayed as a Ronin. Although Usagi is typically portrayed as being from another dimension, he could serve a much better purpose in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2. Since TMNT: Mutant Mayhem's Splinter doesn't have any connections to Japan, the Foot Clan, or proper ninjitsu training, Usagi could fulfill this role in the sequel with some tweaks to his backstory.
One hilarious character that could be included in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 is Mona Lisa. Mona Lisa is a strange TMNT character, with the original animated series portraying her as a human girl that is mutated into a turtle, with her being taken under the wing of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Despite her being the butt of many jokes in the TMNT fanbase, this arc could be an interesting parallel to the Turtles' arc in the first movie. However, the 2012 TMNT series portrays Mona Lisa as an alien salamander warrior, which would be an interesting direction to take in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2.
